Greetings, and welcome to my website of Society for Creative Anachronism photographs. I am a proud resident of the Principality of Cynagua in the West Kingdom, the birthplace of the SCA.

October 2010

I have been on hiatus from the SCA while my husband and I built a new home.

Our home is now (relatively) complete and I hope to attend SCA events much more regularly.

I would like to publicly thank the individuals who stepped forward and helped me when I had a catastrophic camera failure. In particular, I want to acknowledge Baccus Kaloethes for his incredible generosity and support of the arts.

Additionally, because of egregious copyright violation of my photographs outside the SCA, I have been advised by legal counsel to watermark/copyright all my photos. Thus from now on all my photos will have a visible watermark plus copyright information will be embedded in the IPTC metadata of each photo. I am also registering all my photographs with the United States Copyright Office*. I apologize for this and appreciate your tolerance.

Please believe I remain,

YiS,

Esmeralda of the Lakes
